Speakers purchased from us after an audition in our showroom qualify for a
one month, money back, no explanations required guarantee (alas, shipping
costs are not included) -- you may return them undamaged in their original
shipping crates for any or no reason.
VMPS speakers are known for solid, heavy construction. This controls
cabinet resonance and is a part of the clear, clean sound of the speaker,
but it does add to shipping cost. Freight shipping from California is
required for the RM series speakers. For moving RM-40 and RM/x speakers,
the use of a hand truck is strongly recommended.
Milspec silver/copper is included or discounted with some speakers we
sell. When included, quantities are limited to a pair of cables of up to
10 feet each. When discounted, we charge $4/foot. This is a stiff, tough, 8
gauge copper stranded cable with silver coating over each strand. The
silver coating protects the copper from oxidation as well as providing an
ideal, low resistance pathway, no matter what frequencies are involved.
The cable is provided unterminated: we recommend inserting a bared end
directly into the Cardas binding posts, and tightening firmly. This is an
utterly neutral cable, ideal for the transparent, precise handling
characteristics of VMPS speakers in general.
Obsession Audio does not sell amplifiers, but we do recommend Bryston and Van Alstine, and we can recommend dealers.
