Obsessive Room Consulting

Given a floorplan (or just rough dimensions, for planned new construction), we create a tailored, detailed acoustic room plan which includes wall construction as needed, a complete treatment plan (using both absorptive and diffusive as needed), furniture layout as needed, soundproofing suggestions and designs as needed, plans for homemade treatments and suppliers of materials, and suggestions on cabling and gear.

• Gold: $500 for 2, 2.1 or 3 channel sound in simple, existing rooms
• Platinum: $850 for 4 or more channels, complex existing rooms, or new construction.

Prices are adjusted to suit circumstances, but these are representational.

We back this up with email support for three months and, in our local area, a site visit to evaluate and tune the room's finished performance. Performance is guaranteed: see our contract for details.

We can tune your room for either a tight, flatter response or for a live, high impact sound.

In new construction, floor plans we draw up must be checked with your architect/builder. We are not responsible for local building code checks, and large rooms in general require a qualified architect to verify designs for supporting walls, floor and ceiling support, and fire/electrical code compliance.
